Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
MopSuite is built to be private by design. Its desktop and mobile tools process the content you choose to review on your device. This policy explains the limited data involved when you use a MopSuite app or this website. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to the MopSuite team.
1. Everything you review stays on your device
MopSuite has no server or backend for its cleanup, review, and organization features. All processing happens locally on your device. MopSuite does not upload, transmit, back up to a server, or collect the contents of your files, photos, videos, contacts, calendar events, file names, or scan results. We never see that content.
2. Device data MopSuite Mobile accesses (on-device only)
MopSuite Mobile requests each of the following permissions only when you open the corresponding feature, and uses the data solely on your device. None of it is ever sent to MopSuite or any third party.
- Photos & videos. When you open Photo Intelligence or the Video tools, MopSuite reads your photo library on the device to help you review similar photos, screenshots, and large videos. Items are only moved to "Recently Deleted" after you confirm. Nothing is uploaded.
- Contacts. When you open Contacts Center, MopSuite reads your contacts on the device to help you find duplicate or incomplete entries and make changes you approve. The optional "Export contacts" action creates a local .vcf file on your device and opens the standard iOS system share sheet, where you alone choose what to do with it (for example, save to Files or AirDrop). MopSuite does not upload your contacts to any server, and "backup"/"export" always means a local file that you control.
- Calendar. When you open Calendar Clean, MopSuite reads your calendar events on the device to help you review duplicate, old, or declined events. Events are only removed after you confirm. Nothing is uploaded.
- Files & documents. MopSuite only accesses the specific documents you pick in the system file picker. It does not scan your whole storage, and it does not upload the files you select.
MopSuite Mobile does not access your camera, microphone, or location, and it does not use advertising identifiers or any cross-app tracking.
3. What we collect
- No account or analytics. MopSuite does not require an account and does not send analytics about your activity or the content you review.
- App Store subscriptions. If you subscribe inside MopSuite Mobile or the Mac App Store edition, purchase and billing are handled by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive your name, email, or card details.
- Subscription status. MopSuite uses RevenueCat to check the subscription entitlement. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier and purchase-history entitlement information. This identifier is not linked to your name or the contents of your device. This is the only network service the mobile app uses.
- Direct subscription (bought on this website). If you buy MopSuite Pro directly from mopsuite.com, the app sends an anonymous, randomly generated install identifier to RevenueCat to check entitlement status. This identifier is not linked to your name or the contents of your device.
- Payments (direct purchases only). For purchases on this website, checkout is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe, who process the personal and payment information you enter (such as your email and card details) to complete and manage the transaction. We never receive or store your card details.
4. Third-party providers
- Apple — purchase, billing, and subscription management for App Store editions (under Apple's Privacy Policy).
- RevenueCat — subscription entitlement checks using an anonymous app user identifier.
- Stripe — payment processing for direct purchases.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. This website may be served by our hosting provider, which may process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages.
5. Cookies
This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The checkout provider may set cookies strictly necessary to process a direct payment.
6. Your rights
Because we hold almost no personal data, there is little to access, correct or delete on our side. For payment-related data, you may exercise your rights (such as access or deletion) by contacting us or the relevant payment provider. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the LGPD, GDPR, CCPA or similar laws.
7. Children
MopSuite is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
